Recent Work: Project Bly

Today I’m thrilled to share the exciting launch of Bly! I’ve been waiting months and months to divulge the brand I’ve been working with since December. When Rena, the founder and Adventurer in Chief, reached out to me last year about joining the Bly team I jumped in with two feet – I loved their simple mission, “Travel Far. Live Well.” Bly is dedicated to traveling the world to find unique treasures at bazaars and flea markets and bring them to you. You’ll find a unique and curated collection of objects, textiles, art and jewelry for your home that are one-of-a-kind. The best part, Bly went above and beyond to capture where each item came from through their street style photography. Each item you see on the site will have a story behind where it can from, the tribe it’s from, and even what the color or details mean. Isn’t that amazing!

So, today the first collection launches, bringing you items from Mumbai. Jessica photographed this first collection and it’s stunning – each items has my heart. Over the next year they’ll be bringing you items from La Paz (Bolivia), Kumasi (Ghana), Bukhara (Uzbekistan), Malacca (Malaysia), and Berlin (Germany).

Below is a beautiful round-up of some of my favorite items from this first collection. For the next 48 hours, you can get 10% off anything on the site using code: SAC10.

Both Jessica and I had the pleasure of working together on the third collection – Kumasi. Styling the images with these stunning items was so much fun – each had a little bit of history behind it and the stories about the women Rena bought the items from are fascinating!

Now when you’re looking for a new treasure for your home, you’ll have to check out Bly! There are a lot more treasures coming in the next few months. And hop on over to Jessica’s site to read her interview with Rena.
