One of the first things I like to decide when I design a room, is what treatment and color to use on the walls. In Jackson’s bedroom, I was trying to decide between white and grey. This is a tricky room for color, as there is little natural light so it tends to be a bit darker than the rest of our house. I had Jackson as my helper, which quickly got out of hand! In the end, I am planning to use white in the room. It will be lighter and brighter with this choice!

I’m thrilled with Farrow & Ball as a sponsor for the paint. The quality of their paint is unsurpassed. In addition, the depth of color is unmatched. I have always felt their colors have such deep and rich pigmentation, that the difference is without a doubt, is substantial. I want the room to be clean and bright, yet it has to stand up to my son’s active rough-and-tumble lifestyle. I made the decision to use their estate eggshell for easy clean up, since it’s washable. This is a must with a toddler obsessed with basketball – even indoors!
Farrow & Ball has 132 incredible colors to choose from. I’ve gone with All White for the room. I believe this will be the perfect blank slate for the décor. I can’t wait to show you the finished product after we paint. Now on to countless other decisions in the next few weeks!
I’ll keep you posted. Keep track of the other designers involved in One Room Challenge – I’ve listed them below.
