Artwork for a toddler’s room can be difficult. Their interests change quickly, so investing in art is futile. I decided the best thing to use in Jackson’s room was his own art. Every week, he comes home so excited to show us the art he’s completed at preschool.
I solicited the help of Heather Day to complete an art project with Jackson. I have to say, I have never see him happier. He went wild with paint, spraying water everywhere, and literally dancing in the paint. Over a week later his toes are still blue.
He painted on a large canvas – about 6 feet by 6 feet. Now that the paint has dried I’m trying to figure out which portion of the canvas to use in his room – I love it all! Stay tuned for the final reveal that will showcase this fun masterpiece. I’m thrilled with how it turned out. And Jackson loves that his artwork will be highlighted in his big boy room.
Next week, I’ll be sharing details about the full mood board behind the pieces I’ve selected for his room.
