Last weekend I drove up to wine country for a girls getaway weekend. Sonoma was the destination. It was Kelley Moore’s birthday and I knew that it would be a weekend I wouldn’t forget. As I pulled up to the house that she rented from her dear friend Amy, my jaw dropped – the house was beautiful. Friends, it was perfection – from the fluffy beds you just wanted to take a nap in, to the modern fire pit, and then there was the pool. It was built and designed after the pool at Carneros Inn (which is one of my favorite places to Getaway).
We spent the entire weekend at the house – each morning we cooked beautiful brunches, soaked up some sunshine during the day and then got dressed up for dinners in. Saturday night Kelley hosted a dinner at the house that was stunning – you can see peaks of it on instagram, but the table top will soon be displayed on Mark & Grahams site.
All in all, this getaway was blissful. I love going away somewhere but feeling at home and this is exactly how I felt at the Parker Sonoma house. If you’re planning a trip up to Sonoma or Napa I highly recommend booking this house on VRBO. I can only imgaine how magical this house is in September and October – the best time to come to Sonoma in my opinion.
Hope you enjoyed this look into another Getaway.
