We’re slowly but steadily furnishing our new apartment – it’s quite a task. Especially when I’m the type that needs to live in a space for awhile in order to figure out the perfect pieces for each room. Each room so far has evolved into exactly what I pictured – mixing old and new, distressed with modern, and neutrals with pops of blue.
One source I’ve been going to for vintage finds is San Francisco based Chairish. You may remember them from a feature we did together in September. I’ve had the pleasure of picking out a few treasures for own home – they have amazing pieces. First, a lucite bench that had been calling my name – I keep moving it around from our bedroom, to the living room, but it’s the perfect piece to have nestled next to the sofa in case we need extra seating.
The second piece that I was over the moon and beyond giddy about was a piece of artwork by Michele Spane. Her work was one of the first things that caught my eye – the white circles on natural butcher paper make for a graphically stunning piece and frankly a piece I had to have. It was love at first sight. Do you ever find yourself looking for artwork for your home for months or even years? That was me for our living room. There are pieces that I’ve liked but this piece of work by Michele I loved. After receiving the piece I’m plotting on how I can hopefully get an even larger piece for my dining room (coveting this blue piece!!).
Since I fell in love with Michele Spane’s work so much I wanted to see if Chairish would giveaway a piece to a lucky Sacramento Street reader. Guess what friends – they are! One lucky winner will get to pick one of these three pieces for their very own home.
