a brand new week . . .

Sacramento Street Holiday

I hope all of you had a lovely holiday. This past week I decided to take off – enjoy time at home, went on a few road trips (Stinson Beach, Carmel and Tomales Bay) and enjoy some much needed R & R. I dove into books – have you read The Goldfinch? I can’t put it down. Sat around the fire while three generations knitted away – I was reluctant to start, but in the end it was such fun. But the best part of all was that I became an aunt this holiday. My adorable sister-in-law had a beautiful baby boy – I’m thrilled to say that both are healthy and I can’t wait to meet him in the New Year. After quite a memorable holiday I have to say, waking up to my alarm for this morning wasn’t very pleasant.

With 2013 coming to a close, I’m in awe of everything that has happened throughout this past year. It’s been an amazing roller-coaster of owning my own business – I wouldn’t change this incredible journey I’m on. These next few days will be spent cleaning, organizing, and freshening up the office so that when 2014 arrives it can begin on a clean slate.

I hope all of you have a fabulous Monday. I’m off to organize and start my list of 2014 goals! Do you have any on your list you’d like to share?
